"Venetian Bind"

A feature on Theater for a New Audience's 2007 "Literary Supplement," four plays responding to the season's main theme—the Jew as cultural outsider—presented as a series of free, one-night-only readings.

This was a really hard piece, as there were about a million elements to juggle. Lots of it ended up on the proverbial cutting room floor. It was a pleasure to work with my dear friend Stephen Vider, who came up with the utterly brilliant, pun-tastic hed.
